Alexandre Gama is a self-starting Brazilian business man with over three decades of experience in the advertising industry. Since starting as a lowly copy writer in 1982, Gama has risen through the ranks, becoming one the most recognizable names in advertising.
He graduated from Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation in 1982 and started his career with Standard Ogilvy & Mather, where he worked for nearly a decade. After honing his skills, Gama move on to become the Creative Director at DM9 and eventually starting his own firm, Neogama, in 1999.
Alexandre Gama has won a multitude of industry awards including 23 Golden Lions, Agency Director of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year in the Communications Industry, one of Brazil’s top three advertising executives, and a slew of many others. He is the first Latin American to present a Masterclass and his agency was the first to win Golden Lions in separate categories at the Cannes Film Festival. It is his constant pursuit of perfection that has driven Gama to be recognized throughout the world of advertising.
