Fixing a Broken System

The Secretary of Education, Betsy Devos, has her hands full trying to fix a system that has been on the declined for decades. With broken school system, student loan debts rising, innovation in schools not being taught. There are many problems that plague the educational system in America. However, Betsy Devos has been working long and hard trying to fix this problem for years and seems to have a plan that can reverse this very devastating problem. The crippling educational system is by all means very devastating and this outlook is not a hyperbole. The student loan debt has reached 1.3 trillion dollars. WIth our national debt increasing at a meteoric rate every day, the country will soon sink into a debt that it will not possibly ever being able to pay back.

However, the student loan debt can be handled and managed much better. Betsy Devos has come up with a plan, which is also continuing with the Obama plan, that will bring much of the federal student loans under one building and power. This will make handling and manage the federal student loans more efficacious for the government. In addition to helping out the many college students and graduates who have been plagued with student loans, she, along with her organization, has been continuing what she has been doing prior to taking office, reaching out to many schools across the nation and holding town hall-esque meetings to start up dialogues to .A major problem with the educational system today is that students are no longer taught how to think outside the box or how to be innovative. This lack of growth learning in schools has greatly deteriorated the schools across the nation.

This should come as no surprise as certain fields of study, like math and science, has greatly slipped over the past few decades. The notion of instilling a growth mindset in students across the nation is without a di]oubt one of the best message she has expressed thus far.Our children’s’ future depends on them having a good education and likewise, our nations future depends on having intelligent people. For years the education of the nation has loweerd. It is about time that we raise the bat]r and bring the nation’s intelligence back to its former glory.A nation that is intelligent and that knows how to think outside the box is how our nation has become so influential throughout the world. It is time we go back to that way of thinking.

The Philanthropic Work of Betsy DeVos Reaches across Community Borders

Betsy DeVos is now well known across the U.S. for her role as the Secretary of Education in the Republican Trump Administration, but her philanthropic and advocacy work has extended across many different areas of life where she has made a difference in allowing the people of Michigan and beyond in making their own informed choices. I have looked at the life of Betsy DeVos who was born in Holland, Michigan as a member of the Prince industrialist family, the young Betsy DeVos has been reported to already have become a major force in the political sphere when she studied at Calvin College; known for her belief in American values, I have been impressed with the political work of Betsy DeVos who has become a successful political figure known for her two periods of time as the Chair of the Michigan Republican Party and as President George W. Bush’s choice as a board member of the Kennedy Center for the Arts. Read more about their foundation at dbdvfoundation.org.

Politics may have been a significant issue in the life of Betsy DeVos, but I believe her real passion in life will remain education as she has dedicated more than three decades of her life to fight for the rights of millions of students in the U.S. who I believe are not being given the best start to their educational careers. It appears Betsy DeVos agrees with my belief in providing a better educational system for all U.S. students as she has been a major advocate and financial backer of the majority of impressive campaigns to bring school choice and voucher systems to the people of the U.S. Among the groups that have benefited from the financial support and vocal backing of Betsy DeVos are the Children First America and American Education Reform Council; I have been impressed with the way individual schools and numerous scholarships have also been supported by the DeVos family who have made clear their support for the best possible education residents of the U.S. like myself can expect for their young people.

The Prince Foundation is one of the main passions for Betsy DeVos as she has sought to extend the legacy of her parents through a high quality charitable foundation that I have seen complete good works across the nation, but the majority of her philanthropic work has been focused on the work of the Dick and Betsy DeVos Foundation and The Windquest Group investment company; the Dick and Betsy DeVos Foundation seeks out good causes that reflect the couples own family based beliefs in bringing success to the people of the U.S., including the continued good work I have seen taking place at the West Michigan Aviation Academy charter school.
